| - The Beat of an Indian Heart (by Ragini)
-
- Excitement.
- Fills an indian heart,
- When the wheels of the plane hit the ground;
- and it rushes out, to take a look around.
- (Beat beat).
-
- This is what it sees:
-
- Buzzing with activity,
- There is tons to do and places to see.
- Lots of variety.
- India is the place to be.
- (Beat beat).
-
- People from the north, and people from the south,
- there are so many different languages,
- Coming out of their mouths.
- (Beat beat).
-
- The market places are the most fun of all,
- And it is possible to find everything
- Under just one stall!
- Why,
- It's just like a great big shopping mall.
- (Beat beat).
-
- Now it sees,
- A quiet
- peaceful
- country side.
- A simple
- village.The heart
- of
- the city;
- Where every second is precious
- And the clock just goes on;
- tic tic tic.
- (Beat beat).
-
- There are also
- Lonely, desolated, dark, dangerous
- alleys.
- A big contrast
- To the large crowds in the busy places.
- (Beat beat).
-
- Many
- rallies
- also take place,
- and with a good or bad cause,
- Only one side will win,
- Get the applause.
- (Beat beat).
-
- Then there is the
- Noisy, cheerful atmosphere
- of the school playground.
- And the creak creak creak
- of the merry- go- round.
- The wailing of a child,
- Who flys from the swing
- Onto the ground.
- The child is suddenly quiet;
- When a teacher comes along
- And says,
- "Don't cry, child. Now, you're safe and sound."
- (Beat beat).
-
- And the rushing,
- gushing
- River of sadness
- that finds its way
- into the heart
- When it is
- Time
- to depart.
- (Beat beat).
